Print management company ITG were looking to improve the way they price new projects, better control their costs, and pass savings onto their clients. The fact that their historic data wasn’t in a consistent format added to the challenge.
Our challenge was to help ITG make the most of their historic data and make day-to-day tasks simpler for people within the business. We created an Excel price matrix that utilises historic data to generate price curves, and we built a tool that accurately estimates prices based on historic supplier quotations - this made it easier than ever for account managers to show prospective clients how much they could save.
As a result of this project, ITG can now better control print buying prices, generate new account pricings based on historic data with minimum fuss, and ultimately pass savings onto their clients.
